Rajgad Dnyanpeeth, Bhor, Pune (MS) is established in 1972, at foot of Rajgad Fort which was first capital of Shri Chhatrapati Shivajiraje Maharaj, under visionary leadership of Anantraoji Thopte, he served for Thirteen years as a cabinet Minister of Maharashtra state and handled the department like Education, Milk and Agricultural, Transport. Farmers of Maharashtra are never forgetting his contribution in production of Milk and Milk product.
Rajgad Dnyanpeeth is established with wider object of bringing about intellectual awakening and transformation in education, economics, cultural and social field in Maharashtra as well as the poor and needy families of the hilly areas.
Overall development of the all institutions and social activities of Anantrao Thopte saheb is carry forwarded with proactive involvement of Executive President, Sangram Thopte, who is standing MLA of Bhor-Velha-Mulshi Constituency. He is also renowned young and dynamic social worker in western Maharashtra through many social activates. Under his leadership institutions and constituency are reaching at remarkable level of reputation.
The day to day activities of the Institute are accelerated and managed under the proper guidance of well qualified Honorary Secretary of the Trust Mrs.Swarupa Sangramdada Thopate .
Rajgad Dnyanpeeth basically provide education to the student’s in various discipline right from primary schools (24), High schools (22), Junior colleges (5), Senior colleges to the post graduate and Ph.D. level in general discipline also professional courses in Pharmacy (D. Pharm, B. Pharm & M. Pharm), Computer Science (B.C.S. & M.C.S.), Agricultural Sciences, in Education (D. Ed, B. Ed, M. Ed. & M. Phil.), Management and Engineering. At present more than 15000 students of various corners of the state is taking education in Rajgad Dnyanpeeth’s Institutions. All are the leading and accredited institutes in rural area of Maharashtra state as it is being awarded at national level with “Best Educational Institute in Rural Area of Maharashtra State”.
